International Account Manager

International Account Manager – FMCG

  • Leeds Office
  • Hybrid/flexible working (50/50 split)
  • Up to £35,000 + 10% annual bonus
  • 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays + paid birthday off)

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident with unrestricted rights to work within the UK residing within a commutable distance to Leeds. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Account Manage and develop circa. 20 pre-existing international distributor clients.
  • Occasional international and national travel to client sites, strengthening relationships and identifying areas for growth.
  • Provide training on existing products and new product launches.
  • Work with the internal Regulatory teams to ensure relevant documentation is supplied, communicated, and adhered to.
  • Work with clients to develop their sales & marketing strategies, focused on building brand awareness and sales growth.
  • Translate clients’ Sales & Marketing strategy into department specific tasks and coordinate with internal teams through to delivery.
  • Increase brand awareness & market share within the territory, present insights into planned product launches, promotions, and encourage expansion of the product range.
  • Regular sales forecasting of client base, reviewing performance of each and identifying areas for growth with actionable recommendations.
  • Work with operations team to manage client stock requirements and provide clear communication on stock requirements and timings.
  • Create business cases in conjunction with clients to support new business growth.
  • Share local market insights with internal teams to ensure these are considered within global marketing and product development projects.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with distributors, preferably on an international level is desired.
  • 2+ years’ Account Management experience is
  • Experience in FMCG or a product driven industry is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Marketing and Sales strategies, with the ability provide recommendations to drive growth.
  • Comfortable with occasional international travel for client visits.
  • UK Resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
