Your key responsibilities will include:

  • First line HR support across the non-edibles division, escalating matters to the Senior Leadership Team when necessary.
  • Onboarding new employees, managing all new starter documentation, and delivering appropriate site inductions.
  • Preparing payroll documentation for processing by an external provider.
  • Generate KPI reports and analyse to drive improvement in areas such as headcount, absence, overtime, and staff turnover.
  • Support management in the site with the training of HR policies and procedures and support with disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Keep the business compliant in terms of legislation, SEDEX and customer standards.
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees, analysing trends and reporting feedback to the senior leadership team where appropriate.
  • Manage employee sickness and long-term absence, ensuring consistent application of company policies.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of employee data in terms of working hours and holidays.
  • Support organisational change in the business, undertaking projects that will support the company’s strategy and improve the effectiveness of HR.

Candidate skills and experience:

  • An understanding of working in a FMCG or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • In depth knowledge of current employment legislation and experience with employee relations.
  • Flexibility to travel to other sites within the business when required.
