Digital Content Manager

Our client is a 360 digital marketing agency based at the epicentre of a 150-year-old group organisation. The agency services all 22 limited companies consolidated into 12 brands sat under the group umbrella, within a wide range of industries and sectors including: Logistics, Energy, Property, and more. As a result of the wider transformation and growth strategy, this agency has been born with the main aim to turn this well-established group into a digital-first powerhouse.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Digital Officer and the Strategic Marketing Lead to strategise, create, and deliver engaging and SEO driven digital content including copy for websites/white papers/blogs, social media posts & campaigns; and work with the graphic designers to brief on required assets required. It is essential this candidate is ambitious with the motivation to research innovative ways of engaging their target audiences, ultimately increasing online engagement for each brand.

Key roles & responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Chief Digital Officer and Strategic Marketing Lead on the evolution of the Group Business digital marketing strategy.
  • Conducting initial SEO audit of each Brand website.
  • Conducting current internal & competitor keyword research & analysis.
  • Creation and ongoing pro-active management of the content calendar, discovering inventive and relevant content concepts to increase engagement and drive traffic.
  • Creating SEO driven digital content based on business objectives, set and track metrics to ensure content reaches full potential engagement from target audiences.
  • Copywriting, proofreading, editing/amending, scheduling, and publishing digital content across web, socials, video, white papers, etc.
  • Working with 3rd party suppliers and graphic design team, writing briefs for assets required for digital content.
  • Researching, developing and delivering social campaigns including paid social to support all areas of the purchase funnel.
  • Reporting to SLT on effectiveness of digital content, areas for improvement and future plans to increase engagement.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar.
  • Solid and proven experience within an SEO driven Digital Content Creation role.
  • Excellent copywriting skills across various mediums, with the ability to proofread and amend own work.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, creating content using SEO best practices, and running campaigns on social platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, with ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • A team-centric and motivational attitude.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience with content scheduling tools, marketing automation software, the full Adobe suite, Google Suite, LinkedIn Ad manager and Meta Suite is beneficial.
  • AI literacy and Paid advertising knowledge is beneficial.
