The Opportunity

The growth in business and increased demand on production requires additional support for the Production Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with someone who is both highly knowledgeable and supportive and he will value your input into ensuring that many of the tasks he currently undertakes are in safe hands.  This a varied role which will grow as you become more proficient and confident in all areas of the production and installation process.

Success in this role will be determined by your previous experience within a production environment, ideally in manufacturing.  Effective time management, working knowledge of Health and Safety and the impact this has within a production environment, intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft, a good work ethic and initiative will be something you can evidence on a daily basis.  Ultimately you will support the Production Manager to ensure that, as the business grows, the demand in this critical works area which includes relies on data, people and machinery, all operate to increase productivity and efficiency. This really is an opportunity for someone seeking a role where your input will be recognised and valued.

Key elements of the role are:

  • Managing, capturing and providing payroll information on a daily basis.
  • Monitoring, recording and reporting holidays and sickness .
  • Scheduling of all works and preparing activity report for board meetings, etc.
  • Managing and updating Supplier Information and agreements using ERO.
  • Sourcing of materials as required.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Stock Audits and Cycle counts - use of ERP system and a good understanding of warehouse management.
  • Ensuring all machinery maintenance planning is up-to-date and complies with company policies.
  • Providing support to the purchasing department i.e. provision of PO numbers, database management.
