IT Account Executive - Education

  • Nottingham - Office Based
  • £23,000 - £26,000pa + bonuses

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work specifically with the Education Sales team, acting as an integral contact for existing customers.
  • Build rapport and develop strong business relationships with existing clients.
  • Use own initiative and communicate with internal & external product specialists to identify & propose appropriate solutions/products to customers.
  • Support the Education Account Managers with client quotes, queries, orders, and other incoming enquiries.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries from transactional customers, qualifying leads, creating quotes, and processing orders.
  • Process quotes and orders efficiently with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Submit deal registrations to vendors and handle product specification enquiries.
  • Work cross-departmentally with finance, sales, and procurement, ensuring relevant parties are communicated with when necessary.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A previous customer facing role (B2B or B2C) is essential.
  • Previous B2B customer service via telephone/email/face-to-face is highly desired.
  • Previous experience using CRM systems and/or order management systems is essential.
  • Experience working within the Technology industry is desired.
  • Experience working with Education sector clients would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and interest in IT hardware and software is beneficial.
  • UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK; please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
