Lead Web Developer

We are searching for a Lead C# Web Developer with commercial development experience in ASP.NET MVC to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of fleet and asset management software. Please note we cannot offer sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Key Benefits:

• £50,000 - £65,000 pa, dependent on experience
• Remote/Hybrid – Monthly meetings in Tamworth office
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + 1 extra day each year (up to 35 days)

Key Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience developing web applications in C# or VB.NET.
• Web Development in ASP.Net MVC.
• Knowledge of Web API, REST API and API design.
• Experience with unit, integration and load testing.
• Front-end experience: CSS3, HTML and JavaScript MVVM Frameworks, specifically Knockout.
• T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server (2016 onwards), relational database design.
• Object Oriented programming practices, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Proficient in developing enterprise scale Web Applications and distributed software, with demonstrable experience of creating new applications/architectures.
• An understanding of security considerations when designing and developing public-facing applications and API endpoints.
• Experience mentoring less experienced developers.

• Knowledge of Entity Framework.
• DevOps and deployment of projects.
• MassTransit/Rabbit MQ.
• Developing Windows Services.
• Degree qualified in a scientific/engineering discipline.
• Experience working with financial software or within the financial sector.
• Fleet/Leasing SaaS industry experience.
