Lewis Ledger

Currently, my role involves lots of learning about the business and everything that comes with being a Recruitment Consultant.

While I am training, I am also undertaking numerous tasks in posting and writing jobs, CV screening, and taking interview notes.

I am learning valuable skills surrounding the whole recruitment process, from sourcing clients to final interviews. I am also undertaking a Recruitment Consultant Diploma to become an industry qualified consultant.

Prior to working at Marmion, I completed my undergraduate degree in BA History at Leeds Beckett University. I worked on numerous challenging and innovative assignments such as podcasts, presentations, essays, and a dissertation. My time at university taught me how to manage my time, how to effectively work in a team, and work towards deadlines. It also taught me a lot about myself, including how I love to learn and ask questions.

While at university, I also worked as a Delivery Driver at Domino’s and as a Junior Football Referee. My experiences in part-time work taught me how to interact with customers and how to communicate effectively with a variety of different people in different environments. An enjoyment of working with people then drove me towards a career in recruitment, where I have fortunately landed a role in the perfect environment with Marmion.

I always bring a positive attitude and a smile to the team at Marmion, while showing strong work-ethic and a strive to succeed.

Marmion has presented itself as a perfect environment for any aspiring recruitment consultant to develop their skills and knowledge surrounding recruitment. The training I have received has been the perfect balance of support and individuality while providing me with the tools to become a successful Recruitment Consultant.

Janet, Matt, and the rest of the team at Marmion have been extremely welcoming and supportive, and I am excited to eventually become qualified and have an enjoyable career.
