Software & Licensing Product Manager

  • £55,000 - £65,000pa DOE.
  • Nottingham – Hybrid working.

  • Understanding of IT products, market trends, and customer needs is essential for this role.

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within commutable distance to Nottingham. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Roles & Responsibilities…

  • Develop & execute product strategies based on market research, data-driven insights, and business goals & demands.
  • Conduct market research and analysis, identifying opportunities for diversification/expansion of portfolio, capitalizing on market trends, emerging technologies, and customer demands.
  • Collaborate & communicate with relevant teams on initiatives, updates, and strategies, ensuring cohesion between departments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and provide briefs for the creation of compelling marketing collateral & promotional materials, ensuring these align with the portfolio strategy and any changes/developments.
  • Track & analyse product performance KPIs and utilise data to develop strategic improvements to achieve commercial targets.
  • Manage & monitor performance against budgets and forecast.
  • Produce product financial reports, liaising with the finance team to ensure reports are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Build & maintain strong strategic relationships with IT vendors and manufacturers, negotiating favourable pricing terms & conditions to ensure competitive advantage within the channel.
  • Support sales teams on sales enablement through product training, providing market/competitor insights, and leveraging commercial channels to position the business in the best possible position.

Skills & Experience…

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Product Manager role within the IT industry is essential.
  • Experience creating product strategies, managing budgets, financial reporting, and product sales training is essential.
  • Evidential experience of developing product performance utilising data analysis.
  • Highly commercial mindset, with the ability to justify business changes through data-driven insights.
  • UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK.
