CANDIDATE BRIEF

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing reactive repair requirements across our clients’ properties; liaising with the regional management team of housing support officers and maintenance technicians ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and within service level agreements. As a result of this varied workload, our ideal candidate must be highly organised and efficient with exceptional customer service skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and third-party vendors, logging all reported issues via the in-house system.
  • Manage both reactive and planned works through to completion ensuring they are delivered within set KPIs.
  • Liaise with contractors/suppliers and in-house handymen to ensure completion of all reported issues to a satisfactory standard and within issued KPIs.
  • Work with finance team to ensure matchup between Issue References and PO’s.
  • Ensuring any complaints are escalated to the appropriate manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and statistics in line with housing association and landlord requirements and the senior management team.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within a busy helpdesk environment.
  • Prior knowledge of facilities management/trades experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • IT proficient including Microsoft packages.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
