New Business Sales Manager

  • £75,000 - £85,000 pa DOE
  • Bonus Structure - OTE £100k - £120k

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of the new business growth plans through management of a team of 6 sales professionals, with future plans to grow this team. You will ensure they are consistently achieving their targets by providing continuous support, coaching & mentoring, and acting as a point of escalation during customer engagements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Management of the New Business Sales Function, comprising of BDM’s, SDR’s, and Telesales Agents.
  • Regular 1-2-1’s to review activity metrics, pipeline building, calls, target accounts, and to set clear goals in-line with the team strategy and their professional ability.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and organise relevant training and development sessions where necessary.
  • Support the team on all stages of the sales cycle, both virtual & face-to-face, including win-strategy sessions focussing on strategic prospects and real-life examples.
  • Management of the weekly revenue and GP forecasts and reporting on team activity, pipeline, and results, using Salesforce.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and provide information regarding additional product functionality, market updates, etc. gathered from customer engagements.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience (4+ years) successfully recruiting and managing a sales team (inbound, outbound & field) in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of accurately following business policies and procedures, working to best practices, and utilisation of CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Experience with SaaS or telecommunications solutions is desirable.
  • UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK – please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
