Marketing Manager - FMCG

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK, and within commutable distance to Boroughbridge. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Is a Yorkshire born and global supplier of sexual wellness products with longstanding clients spanning public services, corporate businesses, and a growing direct to consumer base. With multiple brands operating under the same roof, they’ve remained consistently in-tune with the market and have enjoyed impressive success with no signs of slowing down. They pride themselves on providing an excellent service & quality products and are now searching for a Marketing Manager to drive the brand further along this upward trajectory.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the business directors to develop a marketing strategy covering the Websites, Socials, Events, Mailshots, and eCommerce.
  • Ownership of the marketing strategy, continuously developing innovative methods to increase brand awareness, customer retention, and new customer acquisition (both B2B & B2C).
  • Manage 3rd party agencies, ensure eCommerce channels (Amazon, eBay, Website) optimised.
  • Ensure appropriate visuals & copy are utilised across all platforms and support the internal Graphic Designer in creating additional digital assets where necessary.
  • Ensure brand messaging is consistent across all platforms.
  • Review existing websites and conduct basic SEO audits, working with 3rd parties/independently to improve where required.
  • Lead the marketing activity for events, tradeshows, and customer meetings.
  • Work with the sales team and develop pitch decks, proposals, presentations, etc. (B2B)
  • Support the development of new product launches and brands.
  • Strategize and create outbound campaigns for existing and new B2B & B2C customers via email, website, socials, etc. (B2B & B2C)
  • Lead and manage the creative team, currently including one graphic designer, with the view of developing this team as alongside the growth of the business.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an In-house generalist marketing role, covering both creative & strategic.
  • Previous experience within FMCG eCommerce or similar is essential.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Experience of developing a marketing strategy encompassing Website, Social, Event, Email, and eCommerce.
  • Previous experience with B2B, B2C, public & private sector customers is desired.
  • The ability to ideate and create relevant and innovative content & visuals for various marketing platforms for a diverse audience.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.
