The Role
This is a brand-new role where the successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to drive product management of our clients’ cladding systems. You will be required to lead the full product lifecycle management whilst creating strategies to further enhance market position. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Unit Manager who will provide you with excellent leadership and mentorship as you progress and develop your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking full management of the product lifecycle.
- Supporting product and technical teams in cladding systems product development.
- Supporting roll out of all new product launches.
- Developing strategies, analysing trends, and finding new gaps in market.
- Identifying key opportunities to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
- Supporting Business Unit Manager in driving product range forward.
- Supporting and advising on sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and brand recognition/product positioning.
- Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry experts and international markets.
The candidate
We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated individual with a passion for the construction industry and ideally, an understanding of product management processes. You will be analytical and commercially minded with the ability to build strong relationships and develop strategies to further grow this product range.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous relatable product management and strategy experience within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and a passion to further develop.
- Excellent commercial acumen: ability to strategise, understand trends and find gaps in market.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and apply technical information.
- Exceptional communication skills: the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- A business, sales, or marketing related degree.
