Graduate Interior Design Architect

  • Up to £23,000pa DOE + bonuses

  • Flexible working (core hours 9.00am-5.30pm)
  • Office based 5 days per week

CANDIDATE BRIEF:

Working closely with the Design Director, this role provides a fantastic opportunity for a creative graduate with a passion for interior architecture to join an independent firm and gain exposure to a variety of commercial projects. Our ideal candidate will have an interior architecture design degree and at least one year in industry, working on commercial projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Design Director, supporting the entire process throughout each project, including; design, material planning, and supporting documentation.
  • Work closely with other members of the team on projects, supporting where necessary.
  • Attending meetings with clients and suppliers.
  • Produce mood boards and source samples.
  • Support with space analysis and planning.
  • Produce implementation drawings.
  • Presentation of designs.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified to a degree level in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is essential.
  • 12-18 months industry experience, working on large scale commercial projects is essential.
  • Experience of working to schedules and timescales and exceeding/meeting deadlines.
  • Portfolio of previous work/projects.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Sketchup software, and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • High level of numerical accuracy.
  • Understanding of building regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with an eye for detail.
