Digital Sales Specialist

We are searching for an individual with excellent communication and people skills to join a connected automotive outsourced agency provider as a Digital Sales Specialist based in Harrogate.

  • Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Excellent Benefits Package (Discounted Gym, 2 paid charity/volunteering days + more)
  • Hybrid working option (3 days in the office)

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a positive brand reputation and fostering long-term customer relationships for our client’s automotive network.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to online enquiries via telephone, email chat, text and video with the aim of supporting and moving customers further along their finance buying journey.
  • Checking application documentation is correct and that underwriting requirements are met for funding.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day finance transactions, ensuring compliance and FCA guidelines are adhered to.
  • Taking inbound and making outbound calls to deal with customer queries, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed choices.
  • Keeping and updating accurate records on the internal CRM system, ensuring accurate reports are available for monthly forecasting.
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adhering to all GDPR and industry regulations; staying informed with trends and suggesting improvements.
  • Building rapport with customers through friendly and engaging communication.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a telephone-based role with exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • An ability to build strong rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A detailed understanding of all aspects of the business sales car market.
  • Knowledge of automotive financial products and industry regulations/compliance.
  • Knowledge of automotive finance application software is preferred but in-house training will be provided.
  • Have knowledge of business customer applications, including VAT implications to give the correct advice to our client’s business customers.
  • A forward-thinking and proactive attitude with a drive to succeed.
  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated mindset.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail and an ability to follow process.
  • The ability to take ownership and demonstrate resilience in all aspects of your work.
  • Are a UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
