Digital Marketing Specialist

We are searching for an experienced strategic & creative marketeer to join our client’s start up team as a Digital Marketing Specialist, based in Leeds.

Key Details:

  • Leeds – Flexible working arrangements
  • £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • 30 days holiday (increasing by one day per year of service, up to 35 days) + Bank Holidays + Work Anniversary Day Off

The Role:

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join start-up business at its inception stage, led by a serial-entrepreneur who has successfully founded, scaled and sold two well-renowned tech businesses in Leeds.

As you will be the first marketing hire for the business, we are searching for a strategic & creative marketeer with the motivation to enjoy a career within an organisation that promises excellent progression and development opportunities. Your role will include working closely with the senior leadership team to develop a B2C marketing strategy that aligns with the business goals, execute multi-platform campaigns, whilst continuously adopting a data centric approach to tracking, responding, and enhancing the marketing activity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute the B2C marketing strategy and roadmap in line with the business goals.
  • Manage the SEO, PPC, and affiliate marketing campaigns with the goal of driving traffic and increasing conversions.
  • Oversee and enhance the business’ presence on Trustpilot and similar reputation platforms.
  • Handle digital customer interaction communications from the marketing activity, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Continuously maintain and optimise the website content, enhancing the user journey and experience where appropriate.
  • Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Analyse campaign/website data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and aligned marketing efforts.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ demonstrable experience in a B2C Digital Marketing role.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience managing online reputation platforms (e.g. Trustpilot, Google Reviews, etc.)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, proficient in managing digital customer interactions.
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools, with an ability to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail, able to manage your workload and multitask projects effectively in an ever-evolving environment.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for innovative marketing strategies.
  • UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Whether it’s emergency repairs, expert advice on home improvements, or routine maintenance, Build Concierge is dedicated to ensuring that homeowners receive professional and reliable services at any time of the day or night. Their vision is to become the go-to home service provider, where every homeowner not only loves their service but also recommends it to friends and family, establishing the company as the top choice for home concierge services. The business will initially run a proof-of-concept trial in West Yorkshire with plans to then scale across the UK.
