Desk Based Account Manager

We are searching for a driven individual with excellent communication skills to join a multi-disciplined outsourced agency provider as a Desk Based Account Manager, based in Harrogate

  • £27,000 per annum 
  • 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays 
  • Excellent Benefits Package (Discounted Gym, 2 paid charity/volunteering days + more) 
  • Hybrid working available (3 days in the office) 

THE ROLE 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting one of our client’s key automotive customers by identifying and nurturing opportunities through outbound calls with a view to driving business growth

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Conducting a minimum of 50 outbound telephone calls per day to existing, lapsed and prospective customers. 
  • Securing new business opportunities for the Field Sales Team, ensuring each appointment is qualified and meets pre-defined criteria.  
  • Working towards KPI’s and targets based on call volume, appointment quantity and quality.  
  • Actively record all customer information and activity on the CRM system (Salesforce)   
  • Building rapport with customers through friendly and engaging communication.  

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Experience in a sales or outbound calling position
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Salesforce and CRM systems.  
  • A forward-thinking and proactive attitude with a drive to succeed. 
  • An enthusiastic and self-motivated mindset. 
  • Organised with strong attention to detail and an ability to follow process. 
  • The ability to take ownership and demonstrate resilience in all aspects of your work. 
  • Are a UK resident and unrestricted right to work in the UK
